Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Salary: £460 – £600 per week
Contract Type: Full time, long-term / Day-to-day

About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide essential support to teachers and students, helping to create a structured and inclusive learning environment. This role allows you to make a meaningful contribution to the educational and personal development of students.

Responsibilities:

  • Support classroom teachers in delivering lessons and activities.
  • Assist students individually or in small groups to improve learning outcomes.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Monitor and record student progress and behaviour.
  • Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
  • Assist with personal care, where required, ensuring dignity and respect.
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and participation in learning activities.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of students with diverse abilities and needs.
  • Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting children’s development.
  • Understanding of special educational needs is desirable.
