Salary: £460 – £600 per week

About the Role:
As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students to provide tailored support that meets their individual needs. You will contribute to the well-being, development, and learning outcomes of students, helping them engage fully with the curriculum and school life.
Responsibilities:
- Implement personalised support plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment that encourages trust and engagement.
- Assist teaching staff in delivering lessons and classroom activities.
- Monitor and record student progress, behaviour, and development in line with school policies.
- Support students with social and emotional development strategies.
- Assist with personal care and daily routines where needed, maintaining dignity and respect.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and external professionals to provide holistic care.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, SEMH Support Worker, or similar role is preferred.
- Understanding of SEMH needs and effective support strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of students.
- A patient, compassionate, and supportive approach to working with children.
