About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing classes in the absence of teaching staff, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment. You will play a vital role in supporting students’ learning and maintaining school standards, while providing feedback to teaching staff.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage classes in line with existing lesson plans.
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Support students with their work and engagement in lessons.
- Monitor student behaviour, attendance, and participation.
- Provide clear feedback to teachers on lesson delivery and student outcomes.
- Adapt to different subjects and age groups as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a classroom setting or education support role is preferred.
- Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage behaviour effectively and maintain a structured environment.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to supporting different classes and subjects.
- A professional and approachable manner with both students and staff.
