Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a reliable Teaching Assistant to work in schools across Barnsley (S70, S71), providing support to teachers and pupils to enhance learning outcomes.
As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will assist with classroom activities, support individual pupils, and help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in delivering lessons and learning activities.
- Work one-to-one or in small groups with pupils to reinforce learning.
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in the classroom.
- Assist in preparing resources and monitoring pupil progress.
Requirements:
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or supporting children in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
