Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are hiring a committed English Teacher to join schools in the Barnsley locality, serving communities within the S70 and S71 catchment areas, delivering engaging lessons that strengthen students’ reading, writing, and analytical skills.
As an English Teacher, you will support pupils in building confidence, developing literacy skills, and fostering a love for language in an inclusive learning environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver stimulating English lessons.
- Support pupils’ reading, writing, and comprehension development.
- Maintain positive behaviour and a focused learning atmosphere.
- Provide constructive feedback and monitor pupil progress.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach confidently as an English Teacher.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
