Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS)
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: £460 -£600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day - Supply
Do you have the confidence to manage a classroom and support learning across a range of subjects?
GSL Education are appointing a reliable Cover Supervisor to support schools in the Barnsley region, covering the central and surrounding areas within the S70 and S71 districts, ensuring continuity of learning when teaching staff are absent.
As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will guide pupils through pre-prepared lessons, maintain a calm and productive classroom environment, and support students to stay focused on their work.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons across different subjects.
- Maintain positive behaviour and a structured classroom environment.
- Support pupils in completing tasks and staying on track.
- Provide feedback to teachers regarding pupil engagement and progress.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a school environment or with children.
- Strong communication and organisational skills as a Cover Supervisor.
- Ability to manage behaviour and maintain focus in the classroom.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
