Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a Science Teacher to work in Sheffield schools based around the S11 locality, ensuring structured teaching that develops investigation skills and a love for science.
As a Science Teacher, you will plan clear and engaging sessions, support learners of varying abilities, and create a classroom environment where students feel confident to ask questions and experiment with new concepts.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver well-planned lessons covering a range of scientific topics.
- Encourage curiosity, enquiry, and analytical thinking in the classroom.
- Use effective behaviour management to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Provide constructive feedback to support student progress.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.
- Monitor pupil development and maintain accurate assessment records.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence working as a Science Teacher.
- Clear communication and good organisational skills.
- A commitment to supporting learners of different abilities.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A professional and responsible approach to safeguarding.
