Job Title: Design Technology (DT) Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for a Design Technology Teacher to inspire learners across Sheffield schools, notably in the S11 region, where practical learning and problem‑solving are highly valued.
As a Design Technology (DT) Teacher, you will plan engaging sessions that develop technical skills, creativity, and safe working practices, while supporting learners to think critically and work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver structured lessons covering a range of design and technology areas.
- Teach students how to safely use tools, equipment, and materials.
- Encourage creativity, resilience, and effective problem-solving.
- Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Maintain an organised and safe learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence working as a Design Technology Teacher.
- Good classroom management and organisational skills.
- A commitment to supporting learners of different abilities.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A professional approach to safeguarding and school procedures.
