Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are recruiting a Maths Teacher to join schools throughout Sheffield, including those in the S11 postcode, delivering lessons that encourage logical thinking and resilience in learners.
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will plan well-organised sessions, support pupils with different learning needs, and create a focused classroom environment where students feel encouraged to tackle mathematical challenges.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver accessible and engaging maths lessons that support understanding.
- Help pupils develop problem-solving and reasoning skills.
- Maintain positive behaviour and a purposeful learning atmosphere.
- Provide clear feedback to help students improve their performance.
- Work alongside colleagues to support consistent curriculum delivery.
- Track progress and keep accurate assessment records.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and experience working as a Maths Teacher.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- A supportive approach to learners of varying abilities.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A professional approach to safeguarding and school policies.
