Location: Thanet
Salary: £120 - £250 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full time / Part time

GSL Education are currently seeking passionate QTS Primary Teachers to join our team in Thanet, starting September 2025.

About the Role:

The role will involve delivering engaging lessons, following the school’s curriculum, and ensuring that children make excellent progress across all subjects. You will play a key role in developing pupils’ literacy, numeracy, and personal growth, while also supporting the wider school community with extracurricular and pastoral activities.

Responsibilities of a QTS Primary Teacher:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum.
  • Adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of pupils, including those with additional learning requirements.
  • Monitor, assess, and record pupils’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Create a positive, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support pupil achievement.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities, assemblies, and school events.
  • Uphold the school’s Christian values and ethos while fostering an inclusive learning environment.
  • Ensure effective classroom and behaviour management in line with school policies.

QTS Primary Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Proven experience teaching in primary schools.
  • Strong classroom management skills and ability to inspire pupils.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality education and supporting the holistic development of children.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
