Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Dinnington, S25
Pay Rate: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Dinnington, S25. As an SEN TA, you will provide essential support to students with a range of special educational needs, helping them access the curriculum and develop both academically and socially.

Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN.
  • Implement individualised learning plans in collaboration with the class teacher and SENCO.
  • Assist in maintaining a positive classroom environment by supporting student behaviour.
  • Help students develop social skills and build confidence in their abilities.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure students receive the right level of support.

Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A caring, patient, and flexible approach to working with students.
  • A valid, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps clearly explained.
