Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Rotherham, S61
Salary: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term, Part-time / Full-time

Are you a passionate and experienced Maths Teacher dedicated to helping students develop their numerical, problem-solving, and analytical skills?

GSL Education are seeking a knowledgeable Maths Teacher to join a supportive school in Rotherham, S61. You will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages, fostering students’ confidence, understanding, and enjoyment of mathematics.

Responsibilities as a Maths Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Inspire and challenge students to achieve their full academic potential.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
  • Support students’ development of numeracy, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Maths curriculum.


Requirements for Maths Teacher:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
  • Experience teaching Maths across Key stages is desirable.
  • Strong subject knowledge and ability to engage students of varying abilities.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps clearly explained.
