Job Title: Science Teacher

Salary: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term, Part-time / Full-time
Are you a passionate and inspiring Science Teacher dedicated to engaging students in biology, chemistry, physics, and STEM learning?
GSL Education are seeking an experienced Science Teacher to join a supportive school in Rotherham, S61. You will deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages, fostering students’ curiosity, analytical skills, and enthusiasm for science.
Responsibilities as a Science Teacher:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Inspire and challenge students to achieve their full academic potential.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
- Support students’ development of scientific knowledge, practical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Science curriculum and extracurricular STEM activities.
Requirements for Science Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
- Experience teaching Science across is desirable.
- Strong subject knowledge and ability to engage students of varying abilities.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps clearly explained.
