Are you a nurturing and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher with a confident understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEND)? Ready to take the next step in a school that puts inclusion and early development at the heart of everything?

GSL Education Manchester is proud to be working with a well-led, welcoming primary school in Denton that is seeking a dedicated EYFS Class Teacher to join their Early Years team from September 2025. This full-time role is temp to perm, offering the chance to become a permanent member of staff following a successful initial period.

About the Role:

You’ll take the lead in a Reception class where several pupils have additional needs, so a strong understanding of SEND support strategies is essential. You’ll be joining a supportive, established team that works collaboratively to provide every child with the best possible start to their education.

Trial day for shortlisted candidates will be held on Wednesday 4th September.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver a high-quality, inclusive EYFS curriculum tailored to pupils’ individual learning styles

Support children with a range of SEND, including Autism, Speech & Language needs, and sensory processing difficulties

Foster a warm, nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued, and able to thrive

Track progress through effective observation, assessment, and planning

Communicate regularly with parents, SENCO, and outside agencies to support learning and wellbeing

Contribute positively to the Early Years team and wider school community

What We’re Looking For:

A qualified teacher (QTS essential) with experience or specialism in EYFS

Confident working with pupils with SEND in an early years context

Patient, adaptable, and reflective in your teaching approach

Able to build strong, trust-based relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues

A team player who is passionate about child development and inclusive education

Why This School?

This Denton-based school is recognised for its inclusive values, well-structured leadership, and commitment to early intervention and SEND support. The SLT is approachable, experienced, and hands-on, ensuring all staff are supported and valued in their roles.

This is a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact in a child's first year of school, while developing your own practice in a well-respected school community.
