Salary Range: £155 to £220 per day (Depending on Experience)

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and creative English Teacher to join a vibrant school in Chapeltown from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who wants to inspire a love for English and support students in achieving academic excellence.
Role Overview:
As an English Teacher, you will deliver engaging and imaginative lessons across Key Stages, nurturing students’ reading, writing, and communication skills while preparing them with the knowledge and confidence to excel in exams and further studies.
Your Responsibilities as an English Teacher:
- Plan and teach high-quality English lessons in line with national curriculum requirements.
- Encourage enthusiasm for reading, writing, and oral communication through engaging and imaginative techniques.
- Adapt lessons to address the diverse needs and abilities of all students.
- Assess students regularly, track progress, and provide meaningful feedback to promote growth.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Work closely with colleagues to help drive whole-school development and success.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Proven experience teaching English across different Key Stages.
- Strong expertise in the English language combined with genuine enthusiasm for the subject.
- Effective classroom management skills and strong ability to communicate clearly.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps clearly explained.
