GSL Education is excited to be working with a thriving secondary school in Eastleigh to recruit a dedicated and skilled Resistant Materials Teacher to join their Design & Technology department from October half term.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Resistant Materials lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that support progress and promote a love of learning.
  • Foster a safe and stimulating learning environment in workshops and classrooms.
  • Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and DT department.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent overseas qualification.
  • Have recent experience teaching Resistant Materials within a secondary school setting.
  • Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a creative approach to teaching.
  • Be confident in managing behaviour and building positive relationships with students.
  • Have a commitment to raising attainment and supporting student progress.
