Salary Range: £160 - £250 per day (Depending on Experience)

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to work in a specialist setting in Doncaster. This role of Special Educational Needs Teacher (SEN) requires an individual who can adapt their teaching to meet the diverse needs of students with varying levels of SEND, including autism, MLD, SLD, and complex needs.
As a SEN Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and SENCOs.
- Monitoring progress and implementing strategies to support student development.
- Managing behaviour using positive, therapeutic approaches.
- Liaising with parents and external professionals to support pupils’ EHCP outcomes.
Skills & Requirements for SEN Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Proven experience working with SEN students, ideally in a specialist setting.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps clearly explained.
