Pay Rate: £88.94 - £100 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated Child Support Worker to work in education setting across Boston. The role focuses on providing vital support to children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, helping them to succeed both academically and emotionally.
Role Overview:
As a Child Support Worker, you will work alongside teachers and support staff to create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for students who may need additional guidance and care throughout the school day.
Responsibilities as Child Support Worker:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN and SEMH.
- Promote emotional regulation, resilience, and engagement with learning.
- Support pupils in managing behaviour and developing positive routines.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students and staff.
- Maintain clear records and contribute to support plans and strategies.
Requirements for Child Support Worker:
- Experience working with children or young people, particularly in SEN or SEMH settings.
- A patient, understanding, and consistent approach.
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
- An up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years (with no unexplained gaps).
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
