Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Grimsby
Salary: £100 – £130 per day

GSL Education is currently seeking a confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school in Grimsby .This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience, especially for those considering a future in teaching or education support.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom to supervise pre-set lessons during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task and engaged in their learning.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons and supervise class activities in the absence of the regular teacher
- Ensure a positive learning environment is maintained
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
- Support students with their learning and encourage classroom participation
Requirements:
- Experience working with young people or within a school setting is desirable
- Confident, professional, and able to lead a classroom independently
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A genuine interest in education and student development
- Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
