Location: Scunthorpe
Salary: £120 – £140 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term; Full-Time / Part-Time

GSL Education are currently seeking enthusiastic ECTs to join schools across Scunthorpe. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience while benefiting from structured support and guidance aligned with the Early Career Framework.
About the role:
In this role, you will plan and deliver effective lessons that engage pupils and support their academic and personal development. Working closely with experienced colleagues, you will be supported throughout your statutory induction and encouraged to contribute to the school’s inclusive and positive culture.
Key Responsibilities of an Early Career Teacher (ECT):
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Differentiate teaching to meet the diverse needs of all pupils
- Monitor pupil progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Maintain positive classroom behaviour and a safe learning environment
- Fully participate in the Early Career Framework induction programme
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
- Uphold safeguarding policies and ensure pupil welfare at all times
What we need from an Early Career Teacher (ECT):
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) obtained within the last two years
- Commitment to the Early Career Framework and ongoing professional development
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate young learners
- Familiarity with UK primary education standards and curriculum
- Have an updated CV and an Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
