Job Title: Supply Teacher
Location: Scunthorpe
Salary: £150 - £180 per day
Start Date: September 2025

GSL Education Lincolnshire are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Supply Teachers to cover planned and unplanned teacher absences from September 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Follow lesson plans provided or use your own initiative to adapt material to suit learners’ needs.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
- Mark and assess students' work in line with school policies when required.
- Liaise with school staff to ensure the smooth running of the school day.
- Uphold school values and encourage positive behaviour and academic achievement.
- Be available for short notice or planned cover, depending on your availability.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
- Previous classroom experience in a UK school setting.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility, resilience, and a proactive attitude to working in different school environments.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential).
- Right to work in the UK.
