PE Teacher – Secondary School – Gosport, Hampshire

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time PE Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Gosport from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a strong PE department, where promoting physical wellbeing and teamwork is at the heart of the curriculum. Teacher of PE Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across a range of sports and physical activities
  • Inspire students to develop their physical fitness, teamwork, and resilience
  • Manage and maintain high standards of behaviour and participation in lessons
  • Contribute to extracurricular sports and school events
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote whole-school wellbeing through sport

Requirements for Physical Education (PE) Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK
  • Previous experience working as a Physical Education (PE) Teacher in UK schools.
  • A degree in Physical Education or a related subject
  • Experience in coaching and delivering a variety of sports
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Have an updated CV and an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
