Location: Seaford
Pay: £120–£200 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term; Full-Time / Part-Time

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Class Teacher to work in a friendly and welcoming primary school in Seaford, starting immediately.

About the Role:

As a Class Teacher, you will lead a primary class in delivering engaging and purposeful learning experiences. You will be responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing pupils’ progress while contributing to the wider life of the school. This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on children’s academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities of Primary School Class Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the national curriculum across Key stage 1 & 2
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can succeed
  • Differentiate learning to support the varying needs of all pupils
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to promote development
  • Foster strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Maintain a well-organised and engaging classroom setting
  • Promote positive behaviour and uphold school values and policies
  • Participate in school activities, planning meetings, and staff training sessions
  • Contribute to creating a school culture of continuous improvement and high expectations
  • Maintain accurate records and fulfil all assessment and reporting requirements

Requirements for Primary Class Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, such as PGCE is preferred
  • Recent teaching experience within a UK primary school setting
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A creative, reflective, and committed approach to teaching
  • Have an updated CV and an Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
