SEN Teaching Assistant – Louth, Lincolnshire
Location: Louth, Lincolnshire
Salary: £90 – £100 per day
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only

GSL Education is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming school in Louth, Lincolnshire. This is a rewarding full-time opportunity starting in September 2025, ideal for individuals who are nurturing, resilient, and enthusiastic about helping young learners thrive.
The Role:
You will support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Working under the guidance of class teachers and SENCOs, you will help deliver tailored learning activities, assist with emotional regulation, and contribute to a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one or small group support in and out of the classroom

Help implement EHCP targets and behaviour strategies

Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families

Support with personal care where necessary (training provided)

Monitor and record progress and development
Ideal Candidate Will:

Have experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school or care setting)

Be patient, compassionate, and adaptable

Hold a valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)

Have the right to work in the UK
