Salary: £90.00 - £110.00
Contract Type: Full time
We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Scunthorpe. If you're ready to step into a role where you can inspire and support children, this Teaching Assistant position is the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons
- Assist children with their individual learning, ensuring a nurturing environment
- Help manage classroom activities and maintain a safe learning space
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to children where necessary
- Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Encourage and promote excellent behaviour and social development among children
- Assist in preparing learning materials and setting up classroom activities
Requirements:
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service is essential
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively with other members of staff to create a positive learning environment
- Flexibility to adapt to the varying needs of the children and the school
