Your Role and Responsibilities as Science Teacher:
- Inspiring Lessons: Deliver engaging and interactive Science lessons across key stages, sparking curiosity and critical thinking.
- Curriculum Innovation: Plan and implement creative, hands-on lessons that bring scientific concepts to life.
- Student Achievement: Monitor progress, provide feedback, and support students in reaching their full potential.
- School Engagement: Take part in school events and contribute to the wider educational community.
- Collaborative Culture: Work closely with colleagues to ensure consistent and high-quality curriculum delivery.
What We’re Looking in Science Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with strong subject knowledge in Science.
- Experience: Previous experience teaching Science at the secondary level is preferred, but ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment: A passion for education and a dedication to fostering a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
- Preparedness: An up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years with no unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
