We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic English Teacher to a vibrant team at a leading school in Lincoln. As an English Teacher with us, you'll have the chance to inspire and educate the next generation, shaping their future and nurturing their potential.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive English lessons tailored to the needs of diverse learners.
- Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and a passion for literature.
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the continuous improvement of the English curriculum and school-wide initiatives.
- Engage with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and foster positive relationships.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in English or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching English at the secondary school level, with a track record of achieving excellent results.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Dedication to promoting inclusivity and diversity within the classroom and wider school community.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
