Location: Gainsborough
Salary: £130 – £180 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term; Full-Time / Part-Time
Are you a confident KS2 Teacher with the ability to inspire pupils while maintaining firm and consistent behaviour management?
GSL Education are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join primary schools in Gainsborough. This role is ideal for a teacher who is not only passionate about teaching but also committed to maintaining high standards of behaviour and creating a positive learning environment for all pupils.
About the Role:
As a Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher, you will be expected to deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stage 2. You’ll be working with pupils aged 7–11, helping them navigate their academic growth and personal development. Your strong behaviour management skills will be key to ensuring a productive classroom atmosphere that promotes learning and respect.
KS2 Teacher Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
- Establish and enforce clear boundaries and behaviour expectations
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback in line with school policies
- Foster an inclusive environment where all pupils feel supported and challenged
- Collaborate with support staff and colleagues to deliver targeted learning strategies
- Engage with parents and carers to discuss progress and behaviour where appropriate
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to reports and assessments
Qualifications & Skills for KS2 Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
- Recent experience teaching within a KS2 setting in UK primary schools.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management abilities
- A creative, resilient, and flexible teaching approach
- Strong understanding of the KS2 national curriculum and assessment strategies
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
