Job Title: KS1 Teacher (Part-Time)
Location: Hailsham, East Sussex
Salary: £120 - £200 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Part-time, 2 days a week
GSL Education are currently seeking a committed and engaging Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher for a lovely primary school in Hailsham. This is a part-time role, working two days a week, ideal for someone looking to balance teaching with other commitments.
The school prides itself on its warm, inclusive atmosphere and strong focus on pupil wellbeing. We are looking for a teacher who can create a positive, nurturing learning environment and deliver engaging lessons that inspire young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
• Uphold high standards of safeguarding, behaviour, and classroom management
Candidate Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 preferred
• Passionate about early years learning and pupil development
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL Education
