Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: Sleaford
Salary Range: £31,650 to £49,084 per annum (Depending on Experience)
Start Time: September 2025
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are delighted to be recruiting for a passionate and enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join a thriving school in Sleaford from September. This position is ideal for an educator who believes in the power of the performing arts to engage, inspire, and build confidence in students.

About the Role:

This exciting opportunity will see the successful candidate deliver a dynamic Drama curriculum to students with a wide range of abilities and aspirations. You’ll have the chance to shape creative expression, encourage collaboration, and build students’ confidence through performance, stagecraft, and theatrical theory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that foster creativity and performance skills.
  • Prepare students for practical assessments, school productions, and extracurricular events.
  • Assess progress and provide effective feedback in line with curriculum standards.
  • Create a safe, respectful, and supportive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the wider arts provision across the school.

Job Requirements:

  • A recognised teaching qualification with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Specialism or significant experience in Drama or Performing Arts.
  • Strong classroom management and the ability to motivate learners.
  • Passionate about promoting the performing arts in education.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the Drama curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
