GSL Education are seeking a Psychology Graduate to join a dynamic SEMH provision catering to learners of all ages in Lincoln. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about mental health, behaviour, and inclusive education—whether you're considering a career in educational psychology, counselling, or teaching.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and group support to students with SEMH needs.
- Assist in delivering tailored strategies to support emotional regulation and learning.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, helping them re-engage with education.
- Work alongside teaching and pastoral staff to maintain a calm and safe environment.
- Support the delivery of academic and therapeutic interventions.
What You Need:
- A degree in Psychology or a related field.
- A strong interest in mental health, behaviour, and inclusive education.
- Resilience, empathy, and adaptability to meet challenging behaviours positively.
- Experience working with young people in any capacity (school, youth work, care) is a plus.
- A current, up-to-date CV (covering the last 10 years with no unexplained gaps).
- An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
