Job Title: Early Years Practitioner (EYP)
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £86 - £100 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term, Part-time / Full-time
GSL Education are seeking a passionate Early Years Practitioner (Level 2 or 3) to join a primary/nursery setting in Rotherham. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting young children and helping them develop in a safe and encouraging environment.
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children’s learning and development. You will work closely with the team to provide stimulating activities that promote growth and confidence in children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting children in their daily activities and learning experiences.
- Helping to plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities.
- Observing children’s progress and sharing information with the team.
- Ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all children.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and social skills.
- Working alongside parents and carers to support children’s needs.
What we are looking for:
- Hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
- Experience working with young children in a nursery, preschool, or similar setting is desirable.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and child welfare.
- An Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
