Job Title: Primary Supply Teacher
Location: Corringham
Salary Range: £125-£220 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Time: September 2025 (or earlier if available)
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
GSL Education are inviting passionate and reliable Primary Teachers to join our supply team to support schools in Corringham.
This role is perfect for qualified teachers who want flexibility, whether you're newly qualified, in between jobs, semi-retired, or looking for a better work-life balance. You will have the chance to teach in a variety of schools without the additional responsibilities of marking and planning.
About the Role:
As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will be stepping into the classroom to deliver planned lessons in the absence of the regular teacher. You’ll help children stay on track with their learning, manage the class effectively, and maintain a positive atmosphere in line with school policies.
Your Role Will Include:
- Teach lessons using pre-prepared plans across EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
- Manage classroom behaviour confidently and professionally.
- Support pupils’ learning and well-being during the day.
- Follow the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies.
- Report back to staff about pupil progress and any issues.
- Build strong relationships with pupils and school teams.
Job Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching in primary schools in the UK.
- Good classroom management skills and flexibility.
- Clear and friendly communication style.
- Willingness to travel to different schools around Corringham.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
