Job Title: Primary Supply Teacher
Location: Bowers Gifford
Salary Range: £125-£220 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Time: September 2025 (or earlier if available)
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

About the Role:
As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering lessons when permanent staff are absent. You’ll be provided with plans, allowing you to step straight into the classroom and support pupils' learning. Your role is to maintain consistency, manage the class effectively, and ensure children stay focused and engaged.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver lessons based on provided plans across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning space.
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Report any concerns to senior school staff.
- Adapt to different classroom environments quickly and professionally.
- Follow school routines, safeguarding practices and policies.
Job Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Previous experience teaching in UK primary schools.
- Strong classroom management skills and adaptability.
- Clear communication and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to work across different year groups as required.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
