Role Details

  • Job Title: Geography Teacher

  • Location: Enfield

  • Start Date: September 2025

  • Contract Type: Permanent

  • Employment Type: Full-Time

  • Salary: £150 - £250 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons as a Geography Teacher, covering both physical and human geography.

  • Create an inclusive learning environment that inspires curiosity and fosters critical thinking in your role as a Geography Teacher.

  • Use assessment strategies to support student progress and achievement in Geography.

  • Take part in curriculum development and contribute to the wider school community as a committed Geography Teacher.

  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and ensure strong behaviour management in the classroom.

  • Stay up to date with educational developments to continually grow in your Geography Teacher role.

  • Support students’ learning journeys and instill a lifelong interest in geography.

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or equivalent overseas qualification.

  • Specialism in Geography or a closely related subject.

  • Previous experience working as a Geography Teacher at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.

  • A current Enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

  • Full right to work in the UK and availability of references for safeguarding checks.
