Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Lincoln
Salary Range: £31,650 to £49,084 per annum (Depending on Experience)
Start Time: September 2025
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

About the Role:
As a Science Teacher, you will deliver dynamic and engaging lessons across a broad science curriculum. Whether your strength lies in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or General Science, you will be tasked with nurturing curiosity and building scientific literacy among learners of diverse ages and backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver science lessons that promote inquiry, analysis, and critical thinking.
- Adapt teaching to support varying needs and levels of understanding.
- Encourage scientific investigation and help learners make connections to the real world.
- Monitor and assess progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop cross-disciplinary approaches where appropriate.
- Contribute to a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
Job Requirements:
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Degree in Science or a closely related field.
- Experience teaching Science in both primary and secondary school settings.
- Sound knowledge of the national curriculum for Science.
- A strong classroom presence and a passion for Science education.
- Commitment to inclusive teaching practices and high student achievement.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
