Job Title: Secondary English Teacher
Location: Fareham, Hampshire
Salary Range: £30,000 - £46535 per annum (Depending on Experience)
Start Time: September 2025
Contract: Full-time

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver dynamic and engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Create a classroom environment that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and confidence.
- Track and support pupil progress, adapting teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support whole-school initiatives.
- Uphold school policies and contribute positively to the school community.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (including ECTs and overseas qualifications).
- A genuine passion for English literature and language.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A proactive, enthusiastic, and reflective teaching style.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
