Job Title: English Teacher for Secondary
Location: Chichester, East Sussex
Salary Range: £30,000 - £46535 per annum (Depending on Experience)
Start Time: September 2025
Contract: Full-time

Responsibilities:
- Design and teach English lessons tailored to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
- Cultivate a learning space that encourages imagination, analytical thinking, and self-assurance.
- Monitor student development and tailor your teaching approach to accommodate varied learning styles.
- Work closely with fellow educators to exchange ideas and support broader school goals.
- Maintain high standards by adhering to school policies and actively participating in the school’s positive culture.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (including ECTs and overseas qualifications).
- A genuine passion for English literature and language.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A proactive, enthusiastic, and reflective teaching style.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
