Teacher of Science
Location: Loughton
Salary: £100 - £230 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Scienceacross Key Stages 3, 4 & 5. You’ll play a crucial role in delivering the curriculum, fostering curiosity, and helping students achieve their full potential through engaging and thought-provoking lessons.
As a Science Teacher, your responsibilities will be:
- Deliver high-quality Science lessons across the Key Stages 3, 4 & 5
- Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles
- Encourage students’ interest in scientific topics through practical and theoretical lessons
- Prepare and assess assignments, tests, and coursework
- Promote excellent classroom behaviour and respect
- Collaborate with fellow Science teachers to enhance departmental delivery
Requirements for Teacher of Science:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science or a related subject
- Experience delivering Science as a Teacher of Science in a classroom setting
- Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
