Job Title: Supply Teacher
Location: Basildon
Salary Range: £125-£220 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Time: September 2025
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Responsibilities of the Supply Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2, tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Implement and adapt existing lesson plans where appropriate, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher.
- Create and maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment that encourages pupil participation and achievement.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and school leadership to support student progress and uphold school values.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, adhering to the school’s behaviour management policies and promoting positive conduct.
Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) within the UK.
- Experience teaching in primary school settings, including EYFS, Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2.
- Flexible and willing to work across various schools and year groups as required.
- Proven ability to adapt quickly to new classroom environments and school routines.
- Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills, with the ability to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
