Rate: £125 to £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently recruiting for enthusiastic Supply Teacher to work across a range of welcoming and supportive primary school in Leigh-on-Sea. About the Role:

As a Supply Teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of regular classroom teachers. You’ll deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and support pupils’ learning across Key Stages 1 and 2. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a variety of school settings, build strong relationships, and develop your teaching practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and school cultures.
  • Support students’ academic and personal development.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure a smooth and effective learning experience.
  • Provide feedback on student progress and classroom activities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent.
  • Strong classroom management and adaptability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
