Rate: £125 to £220 per day (Depending on experience)

About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of regular classroom teachers. You will deliver engaging lessons, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and ensure a positive learning environment for all students. Whether you're looking for daily supply work or a longer-term placement, this role offers flexibility and variety.
Key Responsibilities of a Supply Teacher:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across various year groups in line with the national curriculum.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual learners.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Provide feedback to the regular class teacher on student progress and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with school staff to support student learning and wellbeing.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in UK primary schools is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive approach to teaching.
- A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners.

To work with GSL Education as a Supply Teacher, you will need:
- The right to work in the UK.
- An up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years.
- An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
