Salary Range: £125 - £170 per day (Long-term roles paid to scale, depending on experience)
Start Time: September 2025

About the Role
As a Supply Teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of education during teacher absences. Whether you're seeking day-to-day flexibility or a longer-term placement, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact in the classroom.
Responsibilities of a Supply Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a variety of subjects using pre-set plans.
- Manage classroom behaviour and foster a positive learning environment.
- Support students in their learning and ensure they stay on task.
- Mark work and provide feedback where required.
- Communicate effectively with school staff and report any concerns.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong classroom management and the ability to adapt to different subjects and year groups.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
