Job Title: Secondary Student Support
Location: Waterlooville, Hampshire
Salary: £12.82 per hour
Start Date: Immediate or September 2025
Contract: Full-time

Key Responsibilities of a Secondary Student Support:
- Support students across KS3 and KS4 in class and during activities, ensuring they remain engaged and focused.
- Work 1:1 or in small groups with students needing additional academic or emotional support.
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist teaching staff in preparing learning resources and managing classroom behaviour.
- Encourage and support students’ progress and personal development.
- Promote the school’s values and ethos through positive interactions and support.
Skills & Requirements for Secondary Student Support:
- A genuine interest in working with secondary-aged students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
- Flexibility and a proactive attitude.
- Experience working with young people (e.g., mentoring, coaching, tutoring) is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to be proactive, patient, and supportive in a fast-paced environment.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
