Early Years Practitioner – Fareham
Location: Fareham | Setting: Nursery (Ages 0–5) | Full-Time | Sector: Early Years & Childcare
Are you a warm, caring, and enthusiastic individual who enjoys supporting young children as they learn and grow? We’re looking for a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join a supportive and welcoming nursery in Fareham, where curiosity, creativity, and confidence are encouraged every day.

Your Role as an Early Years Practitioner
As an EYP, you’ll help shape the daily experiences of children aged 0–5 through nurturing care and engaging activities. Your role will include:

Supporting fun, age-appropriate activities based on the EYFS framework

Promoting children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development through play

Helping with daily routines including mealtimes, personal care, and transitions

Observing and recording children’s progress to support their learning journeys

Creating a warm, safe, and stimulating environment where all children can flourish
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
-
Holds a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare

Has experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting

Brings a kind, patient, and playful approach to everyday tasks

Understands the importance of child-led learning and the EYFS

Works well in a team and communicates confidently with children and adults
