Exam Invigilator
Location: Holbeach
Salary: £85 – £100 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Day-to-Day/Long Term, Full-time/Part-time
GSL Education are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Exam Invigilators to support schools in Holbeach. This is a vital role, ensuring that internal and external examinations are conducted in accordance with strict regulations, creating a calm and secure environment for all candidates.

As an Exam Invigilator, you will be a key figure in ensuring the integrity of the examination process. You’ll work alongside school staff and senior invigilators to maintain a smooth and orderly exam environment, adhering to school and awarding body procedures at all times.
Key Responsibilities of Exam Invigilator:
- Set up examination rooms by laying out stationery, equipment, and exam papers in accordance with strict procedures
- Ensure students are seated according to the seating plan and understand exam conditions
- Supervise candidates during exams to prevent malpractice and maintain order
- Start and finish exams according to official protocols
- Distribute and collect exam papers and materials efficiently
- Record attendance and report any discrepancies or incidents to senior staff
- Provide additional support to candidates with approved access arrangements
Exam Invigilator Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Exam Invigilator is desirable
- A calm, responsible, and observant nature
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to follow strict procedures and maintain confidentiality
- Willingness to undergo training and adapt to different school settings
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
