A forward-thinking secondary school in Stoke Poges is seeking a Head of Geography to lead the department from September 2025.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape and grow a curriculum that engages students with real-world issues. You'll lead on curriculum planning, team development, and pupil progress across KS3 and KS4.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage Geography teaching and learning across the school

Support departmental staff through mentoring and collaboration

Develop engaging, place-based schemes of work with clear assessment strategies

Track progress and implement interventions to raise achievement

QTS and strong subject expertise in Geography

Experience leading or contributing to departmental leadership
