A values-led secondary school in Stoke Poges is looking to appoint a Head of History from September 2025.
This is an opportunity to lead a History department with ambition and purpose, delivering a rich and diverse curriculum that encourages critical thinking and contextual understanding across KS3 and KS4.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead curriculum design and delivery in History

Support teaching staff with planning, behaviour, and assessment

Promote engagement through creative, inclusive teaching

Track pupil progress and implement strategies for improvement
What You’ll Need:

QTS and strong subject knowledge in History

Previous experience in a leadership or subject lead role

Excellent communication and classroom management skills
