1:1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Leicester City Centre
Salary: £83 - £85 per day
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a rewarding role in Leicester City Centre. This position involves working closely with a specific student to provide tailored support and facilitate their academic and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized support to a designated student during school hours.
- Assist in adapting materials and lessons to meet the student's individual needs.
- Help with the implementation of educational and behavioral plans in collaboration with teachers and parents.
- Monitor and encourage the student's progress and independence.
Requirements:
- Experience working one-on-one with children, particularly those with additional needs, is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and professional boundaries.
- Empathetic and patient approach to student interaction.
- Enhanced DBS check on the update service is required.
