Exciting Opportunity for MFL Teachers (German, Spanish, or French) in Harlow Secondary Schools

Location: Harlow
Salary: £150 - £260 per day

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic MFL lessons tailored to the needs and abilities of students, ensuring language acquisition and cultural appreciation.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and fosters a love for languages.
  • Utilize a range of teaching strategies and resources to effectively teach grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development and attainment in MFL.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and promote language learning across the school community.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialisation in Modern Foreign Languages (German, Spanish, or French).
  • Experience teaching MFL at Key Stages 3, 4, and ideally 5, with a track record of student progress and achievement.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for promoting language learning and intercultural understanding.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
